Apple Cinnamon Dumplings

Chopped apples are sprinkled with sugar and spice and wrapped in flaky pasty to achieve the look of large dumplings. They bake up golden, crisp and tender in the oven, sealing in all the sweet apple juices for a tasty treat.
Ingredients
- 3 apples, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- canned biscuit dough or frozen pastry crust, thawed
Cooking Instructions
- Combine cinnamon and sugar in a bowl, then add apples to coat. Cut the dough into small squares and put a spoon of apple filling into each. Pinch dough around apples, careful not to tear. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes.
